Last night my husband, Dan, and I headed for Cinema 21 in Portland to see “Wendy and Lucy.” In Tigard we realized we left home too late so changed our plans and headed for the Bridgeport theaters. Based on Beth’s recommendation we went to “Slumdog Millionaire” not having any idea what it was about. What a great movie! We both enjoyed it a lot and found it particularly interesting as several people from our church have become actively involved with a ministry to the poor in Dharwad, India. Thanks for plugging the movie!

Movies I enjoyed in 2008 include “August Rush” (a beautiful, feel good movie especially if you’re a music lover) and “The Visitor” as well as “Juno” (love the soundtrack) and “Once.”
